GFX: Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings GFX: Why is Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings distribution system unique? GFX: Michael Freeman North American Distribution & Customer Service Manger, Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings Michael Freeman: We've really focused for years just going through independent distribution. A lot of our competitors you know they sell direct they sell maybe through you know specialized distributors but we've concentrated on distribution. We've really partner with good distributors. We've grown with them they've grown with us. And you know I think that's an important part that really differentiates us between you know our competitors. GFX: What can a customer expect from, Sherwin-Williams' customer service? We really want to make sure that it's a seamless process. If an order comes and whoever is assigned to that customer has one voice they'll take the order or request from start to finish. And that way our customers only have one person that they need to go to. GFX: How does Sherwin-Williams' Tech Service Group enhance the capabilities of your distribution partners? If one of our distributors wants one of our tech reps they requested in most cases we make sure that we have somebody there and it helps us close new customers. It helps us show an end customer that they're getting factory support through distribution and that you know. Very seldom if there are problems it's solved. But in most cases it's usually trying to show new products and new techniques that are out there right now. GFX: How important are Sherwin-Williams' distribution partners? There are in these end customers a lot more than we are. So they can see the niche markets and they help us decide which direction we're going to go when it comes to new product development or if it's a product of it needs improvement you know.
