Ultra 9K™ Advanced Colour
This training course is designed to inform you of the importance of colour and how to effectively mix and use colour to achieve the desired finish.
Course Objective
Colour is an essential part of refinishing – it is important to get the most accurate colour match to ensure amazing results are achieved. This course will cover the fundamentals – from understanding the differences in colour, OEM colour variations, characteristics of mixing colours, tinting, and application methods. All the information you need to confidently use colour to achieve the most accurate colour match, first time.
Modules included in this course:
- Theoretical colour framework – understanding colour, the different variations and characteristics, and how to effectively use colour to achieve an accurate match for all OEM car colours.
- Characteristics of mixing colours – understand the differences in mixing toners within the Ultra 9K toner portfolio and how to mix them to produce the desired result.
- Tinting colours – understand how to tint and adjust colour to ensure you get the right colour for your repair.
This course is one of four courses that need to be successfully completed in order to qualify as a Sherwin-Williams Certified Painter as part of the Certified Warranty Programme. The course is a mix of theoretical and practical learning.
