Proven performance and extended warranties

Sherwin-Williams coating systems for Accoya® and Tricoya® are rigorously tested to deliver proven long-term performance. Outdoor exposure trials approaching ten years have shown no signs of coating deterioration, supported by independent certifications including EN927 natural and accelerated weathering, liquid water permeability and mechanical resistance testing.

Thanks to the exceptional dimensional stability of acetylated wood, coatings are subjected to significantly less stress compared to traditional timber. This results in outstanding adhesion, superior weather resistance and extended service life.

Coating systems applied on Accoya and Tricoya can benefit from extended warranties of up to 15 years for both pigmented and translucent finishes, providing long-lasting protection and added peace of mind.
