Macropoxy® 2600

A two-component, epoxy intermediate in multicoat systems for atmospheric exposure.

Macropoxy® 2600 is a high solids coating available with conventional pigmentation, or alternatively pigmented with micaceous iron oxide to provide enhanced overcoating properties pigmented with a high load of micaceous iron oxide (MIO) which exhibits excellent barrier protection.

  • Ideal for maintenance painting and fabrication shop application and suitable for use with or without MIO pigmentation in construction applications or multi-layer systems for corrosive environments.

  • The loading of MIO ensures protection of sharp edges, corners, and welds.

  • Excellent corrosion resistance as part of certified systems according to ISO 12944-6:2018 up to CX on steel for two- or three-coat systems, and Norsok M501 System 1 as part of a primed system.

  • Optimised at low temperature for site applications up to -5°C.

  • The product is available globally.

  • VOC is 174 g/L to meet stringent VOC requirements, even when thinned.
