Rogozinski � Global Product Director, Fusion Bonded Epoxy/Pipe [00:00:10] Pipeclad Five thousand is a two component liquid epoxy designed to be either used as a fuel joint coating, girth weld in the field or it could be applied in a plant or as a touch up for minor repairs. Where it really differentiates itself in the market space is its ease of application. It applies very simply and will hang a very high millage. In other words, you put a very thick coating on and still not have any sags or runs. At its basis, it is a liquid epoxy system, so it has all the characteristics, the very high resistance to cathodic despondent. Excellent water vapor transmission barrier properties in long term corrosion protection and will also work synergistically with cathodic protection. And it also provides gouge resistance.
