Intentional leadership is about raising the capacity of a team through clear direction and strategy. It is the process of deciding how we want to be perceived by those we lead. Intentional leaders demonstrate objectiveness, well-directed ambition, and determination. There is no better motivator for others than a motivated and level-headed leader who is apparent in their intentions, fair in their judgments, and thankful for the efforts of their team members. Intentional leaders who deliberate in their approaches take ownership of their responsibilities and their team and are thoughtful in how they act and why.  They are careful in their decisions and remain considerate of their impact. Leaders must be intentional in developing the trust and respect they work with. They need to take deliberate actions for others to follow their vision and direction.
