Customer Results Take Center Stage for Sherwin-Williams at FABTECH 2026

Protective coating being applied to heavy equipment buckets.

MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 1, 2026) — Sherwin-Williams General Industrial is showcasing coating solutions proven to help manufacturers improve finishing efficiency, performance and production flexibility at FABTECH 2026, Oct. 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

At Booth S15008 in the Finishing Pavilion, attendees can meet with Sherwin-Williams experts to explore liquid, powder and e-coat solutions, including OneCure™, a patented dust-on-dust powder coating system that allows primer and topcoat to be applied consecutively and cured together in a single bake cycle.

“Manufacturers need practical ways to improve productivity and quality,” said Jerimy Erickson, Global Director of Product Management, Sherwin-Williams General Industrial. “At FABTECH, we’re showing how the right coating system paired with hands-on technical support can help improve the entire operation.”

Coatings in Action: GTI Fabrication

The impact of that approach can be seen in the Company’s work with GTI Fabrication, a company needing to ramp up throughput to meet the rising demand of leading energy infrastructure companies. When GTI expanded to a new 630,000-square-foot facility in Goodyear, Arizona, the company needed to scale production while meeting strict corrosion and VOC requirements.

Sherwin-Williams helped GTI transition from a multi-step liquid coating process to the OneCure powder coating system, pairing the zinc-rich epoxy primer with the superdurable topcoat in a single-cure process. The change helped GTI achieve:

  • 30% increase in throughput
  • 35 minutes saved per unit
  • Over $1,000 savings per unit, or approximately $3.6 million annually
  • Industry standard corrosion resistance performance
  • Reduced CO2 emissions to meet VOC restrictions
  • Production readiness in days, supported by in-depth training and technical service
Additional FABTECH Highlights

Sherwin-Williams will also feature solutions designed to support manufacturers and job shops with varying needs for speed and order quantities, including:

  • FASTtrack: Pre-matched colors for small-batch liquid coating orders with fast shipment
  • Stocked Powder: Popular powder coatings available locally to reduce lead times
  • AP offerings: Associated products designed to simplify processes and equip customers with everything they need for a successful, productive finishing line

In addition, Jerimy Erickson, Global Director of Product Management, Sherwin-Williams General Industrial, will cohost “See It, Touch It, Fix It” with David Schimpff of DuBois Chemicals Inc. The session will provide practical troubleshooting insights for professionals who paint and pretreat metal parts.

Attendees can visit Sherwin-Williams General Industrial at Booth S15008 in the Finishing Pavilion during FABTECH 2026 to learn more. Those not attending can reach out here to learn more.
