Official Rules

Eligibility: Sherwin-Williams Follow Us on LinkedIn Raffle (the “Raffle”) is open only to individuals who are registered attendees at the 2023 AWFS Fair in Las Vegas, Nevada, and legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and at least eighteen (18) old at the time of entry. The Raffle is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
Sponsor: The Raffle is sponsored by The Industrial Wood Division of The Sherwin-Williams Company, 101 West Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
Agreement to Official Rules: Participation in the Raffle constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules in a timely manner.
Raffle Period: The Raffle entry period shall be from [8:00am] EST on July 25, 2023 through [1:30pm] EST on July 28, 2023.
Participation: To participate in the Raffle, the AWFS attendee must visit the Sherwin-Williams booth at AWFS and participate and register to follow Sherwin-Williams Industrial Wood Finishes on LinkedIn. Entry is limited to one (1) entry per person.
Prizes: There will be five (5) prizes awarded at the conclusion of the Raffle. The winners will each receive a Yetti Tundra 45 hard cooler. Each prize has a retail value of approximately Three Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($325). All federal, state and local taxes are solely the winner’s responsibility. Prizes are not transferable.
Drawing: At approximately 5:00pm EST on July 28, 2023, a random drawing of one winning entry from among all entries received will be conducted. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified on approximately August 1, 2023. If the owner of the winning entry cannot be reached within 10 days after the first attempt to make contact or the owner declines the prize for any reason whatsoever, then Sponsor may select an alternative winner at random from all remaining eligible entries received during the entry period
Requirements of the Potential Winners: Except where prohibited, a potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (the “Affidavit/Release”) prior to the award of a prize. If a potential winner fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release, he/she will be deemed to be ineligible and disqualified and the prize will be forfeited.
Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Raffle constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of winner’s name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, state of residence and store's name for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
General Conditions: In the event that any fraud or other problem impairs the administration, integrity, or security of the Raffle, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend the Raffle to address the impairment and take reasonable action to resume the Raffle in a manner that most closely adheres to the spirit of these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Raffle, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Raffle may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Raffle, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Raffle or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Raffle; (b) printing errors; (c) errors in the administration of the Raffle or the processing of entries; or (d) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Raffle or receipt of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, Sponsor’s liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Raffle, and in no event shall Sponsor be liable for attorneys’ fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Raffle or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Ohio; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering a Raffle, but in no event attorneys’ fees or expenses; and (c) entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Raffle, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Ohio or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Ohio.
Raffle Results: For winner's name, available after August 25, 2023, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to The Sherwin-Williams Company, 101 West Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115; Industrial Wood Marketing. Requests must be received by October 1, 2023.
