3M™ Diamond Cloth Belt 674W

3M Diamond Cloth Belt 674W was designed for hard-to-grind materials. Diamond mineral is resin-bonded to a durable, water-resistant cloth backing for use with coolants or used dry.

The 3M™ Diamond Cloth Belt 674W abrasives are designed to provide long-lasting cutting performance when used for finishing ceramics, carbides and hard coated materials. Compared to flexible metal bond diamond abrasives, 3M Diamond Cloth Belts 674W generally last longer and deliver a faster, more consistent cut.

While it can be run dry, achieve optimum results when you use this diamond abrasive belt with a coolant. Water is a desirable when grinding or polishing with diamond abrasives, since it efficiently cools both the work and the abrasive. Use with a coolant minimizes any risk of thermal damage.

3M™ Diamond Cloth Belt 674W is an excellent choice for finishing and dimensioning a variety of hard-to-grind materials, including tungsten carbide and chrome carbide, thermal sprays, yttria-stabilized zirconia and alumina ceramics, and carbon fiber epoxy composites. It also easily removes coating oversprays and coatings prior to part refurbishment.
