Our duplex system is designed to provide protection against both cryogenic spillage and hydrocarbon fire, giving you the ideal safeguard against potential damage to critical plant and equipment.
FIRETEX M89/02 is a seamless, 100% solids, epoxy resin based insulative epoxy that can be used at operating temperatures from -103°F (-75°C) to 302°F (150°C), with intermittent spikes up to 365°F (185°C). As a fully tested, fully compatible insulating layer, FIRETEX M89/02 can be used in conjunction with the FIRETEX M90/02 and M90 Series to provide protection in LNG plants, refineries, and chemical processing plants against hydrocarbon fire, jet fire and cryogenic spillage.

- Plural component PFP spray and hand trowel application

- Thermally insulating equipment to prevent Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI)
- Tested to NORSOK M501, Rev 6, System 5A
- Prevent thermal shock damage during an accidental cryogenic release
- Ultra-high wet film build
- Lightweight (density 0.46g/cm3)
- Extremely thermal efficient (thermal conductivity [K Value] 0.088 W/mk at 68˚F (20˚C)

FIRETEX M89/02 Syntactic Epoxy Insulant is a durable, lightweight, corrosion resistant, 100% solids two-component epoxy coating, designed to create a protective thermal insulation barrier on steel members and equipment.
