The purpose of this building is to study the effects of altitude on the soldiers. Shot of the Pikes Peak Sign GFX: Solutions for moisture vapor continuity challenges Mike [00:00:38] Being that it is at 14000 feet, it's a project where we're concerned with moisture vapor continuity and the warranty issues of this floor. So we elected to install a urethane floor system, the Fastop, to cover all of these issues. Fastop being spread Mike [00:01:11] We know time and time again that that floor is going to go down at a consistent coverage rate. This floor was designed to last anywhere from 12 to 15 years. Rick [00:01:20] Because it is a urethane cement, it's going to have the durability and longevity of basically the lifetime or lifecycle of this facility. GFX: Surface prep completed quickly Kellen [00:01:41] We were able to correct the cracks in the slab with the Sherwin-Williams product and move forward without delay. Kellen [00:01:57] Being able to utilize their expertize and get them up to the mountain is critical for this project. Sherwin-Williams partnered with GE Johnson and OmniTech Industries Inc. to install a FasTop Multi urethane flooring system for the U.S. Army High Altitude Research Lab (HARL) in Pikes Peak, Colorado. Technical service and customer support were key in selecting the correct system and installing it properly to meet the needs of a variable climate.
