Angela [00:00:09] So here at PQ Pharmacy, we are a registered FDA outsourcing facility, and the work that we do here is sterile compounding. We make products for hospitals, surgery centers, clinics.

Hale [00:00:23] It's an eleven thousand square feet facility with 3,500 square feet of clean room.

Angela [00:00:29] We have a very strict cleaning regimen. We clean the walls, the floors, all the equipment that we use. There's so many things that you have to take into consideration whenever you're building a facility like this

Herb [00:00:45] Billy with Scaife Enterprises, he brought me in. We met with Angela. And we went over her concerns, which, she wanted a nice, light, airy floor, something that's going to be cleanable and it's designed for a pharmaceutical. But the main concern was actually the chemical resistance.

Hale [00:01:02] They went to our chemicals list. They went through their nomenclature, and they made sure that the products that they use will not corrode will not change color.

Billy [00:01:13] Herb and Sherwin-Williams were great if we needed a question or answer, they were on top of it. They always provide what we need.
Angela [00:01:21] We wanted the light colors. They just looked so nice. It was beautiful.

You can see that these floors are clean, if there was anything on there that was dirty, you would definitely see it.

Hale [00:01:39] Most important for cleaning is to have no hiding places, no ledges, so that's why you see the coving between the ceiling and between the walls. There is no place for spores to hide.
GFX: Seamless Cove Enhances Cleanability
Billy [00:01:52] One of the big concerns is cleanability. So not having seams is a big plus. With the epoxy floors, we're able to diamond grind the surface, open it up and our materials actually absorb into the concrete. So you get better adhesion over long term, less repairs, less maintenance.

Angela [00:02:09] Having Sherwin-Williams here on site during the installation made us feel like there wasn't going to be any issues. They were making sure that everything was installed properly and that we're not going to have any hiccups.

Herb [00:02:23] Even during a project. We can call tech support and go, hey, this is what's going on. We can get some good answers and good experience because it's just not me. It's a whole team of people together with Sherwin-Williams that make a project work. I mean, we have a big bench.
