Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Earns Spot in Boeing Premier Bidding Programme
Sherwin-Williams joins approximately 100 suppliers that have met and/or sustained the high quality and delivery criteria required for inclusion in the Premier Bidder Programme.
ANDOVER, KS – 15 September 2020 – Sherwin-Williams announced the Company and its Aerospace Coatings business have earned a spot in the Boeing Premier Bidder Programme. The programme recognises and rewards consistently high performing Boeing Commercial Aeroplanes (BCA) suppliers and gives them an opportunity to increase their business with Boeing.
Sherwin-Williams makes exterior coatings that deliver custom solutions for commercial aircraft, including a full range of specialised livery colour options for an outstanding, durable finish. Its products and systems undergo stringent testing to demonstrate they will deliver a lasting protective coating for any aircraft in a commercial fleet and has earned numerous AMS 3095 certification approvals.
Its interior cabin coatings systems are designed to provide a smooth, textured or soft feel finish. These are compatible on a variety of plastic, metal and composite surfaces within the aircraft cabin interior and cockpit, and meet the stringent aircraft flammability requirements, FAR/JAR 25.853 regulations for burn, smoke and heat release.
