Oil results in a natural wood surface. With wax, you normally get a more high body, lacquer-like finish. In many cases, a beautiful result is achieved in two steps, first using the oil as a primer and then applying a topcoat of wax. Either way you will reach a natural and beautiful wooden surface using our range of flooring oils and wax-oils. They can be coloured or clear, as well as they can be applied on previously stained wood. For modern industrial production lines Sherwin Williams offers very fast hybrid oils which combine natural beauty with modern curing technologies.
