After Glo Photoluminescent

A "glow-in-the-dark" safety coating system that makes aircraft propeller blades and helicopter rotors visible in dark and low light operations, increasing the awareness and safety of nearby personnel in hangers, airstrips, helipads, and repair facilities.

The After Glo® Photoluminescent system was initially developed under a U.S. Naval Air Systems Command Contract as a joint development effort between Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coating and Defense Holdings inc. for use on aircraft on naval carriers. The material is now available for use throughout the aircraft marketplace. Components with the After Glo coating "charge" in the sunlight and deliver, in the dark, a steady, eight-hour glow that's visible from up to 40 feet. The system also provides excellent hardness and impact resistance.
