Sherwin-Williams Introduces 2019 Aerospace Coatings Calendar

Aircraft Coatings Leader to Show off the Finest in the Sky with its Inaugural Calendar Project

ANDOVER, KS- October 2018 – Sherwin-Williams found the best-of-the-best, from business jets, general aviation and helicopters, with both classic and custom-painted designs, to feature in its 2019 Aerospace Coatings Calendar. The calendar recognizes the outstanding work of aircraft painters across the country that rely on Sherwin-Williams Aerospace topcoats in their MRO and OEM facilities.

The 2019 Aerospace Coatings Calendar features projects from the following companies:

  • Dumont Group – Gulfstream IV
  • JetCrafters Aviation – North American T-28 Trojan
  • Kaman Aerosystems - Kaman K-MAX
  • Corrigan Air Center – Embraer Phenom 100
  • Crider Aircraft Painting – Douglas AC-47 Gunship
  • C&L Aviation Group – Citation 560 XLS
  • Blue Sky Aviation – Cessna 182B Skylane
  • Constant Aviation / Flexjet – Gulfstream G650
  • Dumont Group – Bombardier Learjet 45
  • West Star – Bombardier Challenger 600
  • Straube's Aircraft Services – Dassault Falcon 50
  • Royal Aircraft Services – Van's Aircraft RV-8

With all the submissions it was extremely difficult to narrow it down to only twelve. We were blown away with the quality and variety of the submissions we received, from kit planes to military aircraft to large, multi-million dollar jets.

The calendar showcases designs with bold colors, overall metallic and pearls, military camouflage and classic overall white styles with sleek striping. The Sherwin-Williams Aerospace topcoats featured in the designs vary from single stage (monocoat) systems such as Jet Glo®, Acry Glo® and Jet Glo Express™ and basecoat-clearcoat systems such as SKYscapes® and SKYscapes® General Aviation.

“We wanted to do something that recognized the craftsman in our industry,” says Voisin. “It is truly amazing the design quality and what the painters are able to accomplish. We are very excited to release our calendar, and looking forward to the aviation industry enjoying these works of art.” The 2019 Aerospace Coatings Calendar is set to release in late November 2018.
