The branch service here is phenomenal. They really like the service out of the branch because they can call and order something last minute and the branch will deliver it the same day. Even if they have to be here three times a day, they will do whatever it takes to meet their expectations. They're in here every day, cycle counting, seeing what materials we have on hand, making sure that we have product for the next day.

The one thing that I was really impressed with Sherwin-Williams before we switched to the GENESIS LV line, their sales team had approached me with, If you don't like my product, give me the opportunity to take you to a training session before we even get started. With YESCO and the quality products that we turn out, being able to go to a training center, meet with an actual trainer that knows the products, that was a bonus for us. Because Sherwin owns their own stores, they're able to provide a better service than some of the competitors who go through jobbers. And the ability to deliver a product on time is just unbelievable.

In a lot of cases by the time we actually pay for the material it's probably already being delivered to the customer.

One of my jobs that I have to make sure here is that they're following standard operating procedures and make sure they follow everything through along with the color verification that I have to do here to make sure everything's up to date.
Tom Day:
They're constantly making sure that we're on task in continuing to learn the products and new products that Sherwin-Williams develops. That, that's a real help for us.
Lou Carrillo:
We also offer training. We can take a body guy that would like to become a painter. We've done it on site or we send them out to one of our training centers and we slowly start training that body guy to become a painter.
Tom Day:
With Sherwin-Williams you're always assured to have training at your beck and call, and for us that's a big bonus. We were able to send quite a few of our painters to the training center as well as having technical advisers come to our plants and work with our people on a regular basis. You get what you pay for and then you get more with Sherwin-Williams and that's what we appreciate as a company.
