Tabith McLeish [00:00:12] Sustainability is really becoming a hot topic out in our industry today. And for customers, that means that they are developing goals to reduce their carbon footprint, their energy savings. There are a lot of different ways that they're looking to improve their sustainability story. And powder coatings fits right in to being able to help them do just that, because they can recycle the material with 99% efficiency and are just able to utilize all of those materials.

There are numerous innovations around sustainability that are coming to the market from Sherwin-Williams. Powdura Eco is just one example of that, where we're introducing a recycled PET content into the backbone of the resins, which again, help our customers increase their sustainability story, reduce their carbon footprint, and feel good about helping the earth and the environment around them.

Powder coatings have a whole host of reasons why they're a very sustainable technology. In particular, they're low or no VOCs or volatile organic compounds. In addition, they have low cure capability, which will bring energy savings to customers. They have lower transport costs and the overspray is very easy to reclaim and recycle, which means that it has up to 99% efficiency for our users.
