00:00:30:03 00:00:31:08 Hi, Mark. 00:00:31:09 00:00:33:08 MIO or micacious iron oxide 00:00:33:09 00:00:35:11 is a platey form of iron oxide 00:00:35:12 00:00:37:12 which is thermally and chemically 00:00:37:13 00:00:39:13 stable, unlike other common 00:00:39:14 00:00:40:14 area pigments. 00:00:41:08 00:00:42:19 There's been use for many years and 00:00:42:20 00:00:45:04 high heat chemical resistance 00:00:45:05 00:00:47:01 and high delta poxy formulas, 00:00:47:02 00:00:49:06 and it works in the following ways. 00:00:49:07 00:00:51:08 When developing formulas for CUI, 00:00:51:09 00:00:52:20 you need to have a significant level 00:00:52:21 00:00:54:10 of MIO to give you the best 00:00:54:11 00:00:55:12 performance. 00:00:55:13 00:00:56:20 In the case of the new Heat-Flex 00:00:56:21 00:00:58:18 range, we have levels greater 00:00:58:19 00:01:01:13 than 25% within the dry film. 00:01:01:14 00:01:02:18 This gives you a very strong 00:01:02:19 00:01:04:15 reinforcement allowing the Q 00:01:04:16 00:01:07:01 films to resist thermal stresses. 00:01:07:02 00:01:08:17 It also gives an extremely good 00:01:08:18 00:01:10:03 barrier protection as the Lamela 00:01:10:04 00:01:12:02 nature of your flakes line 00:01:12:03 00:01:13:24 up in the film to produce a tortuous 00:01:14:00 00:01:15:17 path of corrosion species. 00:01:16:20 00:01:18:17 MIO actually trying mirrors? 00:01:18:18 00:01:20:02 It reflects UV. 00:01:20:03 00:01:22:02 So we also benefit from good erosion 00:01:22:03 00:01:23:24 resistance, less dry film 00:01:24:00 00:01:25:24 thickness loss and on exposure 00:01:25:25 00:01:28:02 to high UV environments. 00:01:28:03 00:01:29:24 All these properties enable us 00:01:30:00 00:01:31:21 to pass the rigorous testing which 00:01:31:22 00:01:34:03 is required for CUI service. 00:01:34:04 00:01:35:20 It also brings the benefit of very 00:01:35:21 00:01:37:03 good corrosion performance at 00:01:37:04 00:01:38:23 ambient temperature, so equipment 00:01:38:24 00:01:40:07 can withstand the extreme 00:01:40:08 00:01:41:24 atmospheric corrosion environment. 00:01:42:00 00:01:42:19 So that's great Neil. 00:01:42:20 00:01:44:12 So how do we test for see why? 00:01:44:13 00:01:45:25 All in all. 00:01:45:26 00:01:47:17 CUI coatings are tested for all 00:01:47:18 00:01:49:22 sorts of scenarios like high heat 00:01:49:23 00:01:52:19 immersion and atmospheric corrosion. 00:01:52:20 00:01:53:20 As this was such a unique 00:01:53:21 00:01:55:15 technology, we decided to test it 00:01:55:16 00:01:56:16 vigorously. 00:01:57:12 00:02:00:06 CUI simulation in ISO 19277 00:02:00:07 00:02:02:03 showed good performance. 00:02:02:04 00:02:04:06 Cyclically corrosive Test ISO 00:02:04:07 00:02:06:05 12944.96 00:02:06:06 00:02:08:09 Give less than five millimeter creep 00:02:08:10 00:02:10:00 well below the less millimeter 00:02:10:01 00:02:11:04 requirement for nonzync systems. 00:02:12:12 00:02:13:24 Better corrosion resistance and 00:02:14:00 00:02:15:13 traditional epoxy products not 00:02:15:14 00:02:16:13 containing them. 00:02:17:04 00:02:18:18 Oh well, thank you, Neil. 00:02:18:19 00:02:19:15 That's something. 00:02:19:16 00:02:21:18 So my concern oxide 00:02:21:19 00:02:23:14 does offer some significant 00:02:23:15 00:02:24:14 advantages. 00:02:24:15 00:02:25:20 I would like to conclude by 00:02:25:21 00:02:27:18 describing our MRO 00:02:27:19 00:02:29:05 enhanced product line, which 00:02:29:06 00:02:31:05 consists of three products that 00:02:31:06 00:02:32:19 cover the temperature ranges from 00:02:32:20 00:02:34:15 cryogenic all the way to 1200 00:02:34:16 00:02:35:17 degrees Fahrenheit. 00:02:35:18 00:02:38:06 First, we have our Heat-Flex 650. 00:02:38:07 00:02:39:13 This is our next generation. 00:02:39:14 00:02:41:08 Two component epoxy phenolic 00:02:41:09 00:02:43:07 enhanced with mild. 00:02:43:08 00:02:46:06 Second is our Heat-Flex 750 00:02:46:07 00:02:48:07 and new chemistry in our portfolio. 00:02:48:08 00:02:50:14 This is an calculated amide epoxy 00:02:50:15 00:02:52:03 also enhanced with MIO, with 00:02:52:04 00:02:54:13 exceptional erosion, corrosion 00:02:54:14 00:02:55:19 and crack resistance. 00:02:55:20 00:02:57:23 And lastly, we have Heat-Flex 1200 00:02:57:24 00:03:00:01 plus, which is a two component 00:03:00:02 00:03:02:01 inert multi polymeric matrix 00:03:02:02 00:03:03:22 coating with improved corrosion 00:03:03:23 00:03:05:17 protection properties, as well 00:03:05:18 00:03:06:23 as being more resistant to 00:03:06:24 00:03:08:21 mechanical damage for temperatures 00:03:08:22 00:03:10:21 all the way to 1200 degrees 00:03:10:22 00:03:12:03 Fahrenheit. 00:03:12:04 00:03:13:15 We're confident that with these 00:03:13:16 00:03:15:07 three options, Sherwin-Williams 00:03:15:08 00:03:16:22 provides customers with increased 00:03:16:23 00:03:19:09 durability, superior performance 00:03:19:10 00:03:20:22 and longer lasting protection 00:03:20:23 00:03:22:14 against.
