Millennium Force is a is a big attraction for us, right? It's a very popular ride. We actually chose to bring in the new millennium with Millennium Force. Not only that, but, you know, all of our guests see it when they're coming into the park with its location right here on Perimeter Road to get a full shot of the ride. Um, we want it to look as as good as we can for the guests.

For more than 40 years, Baynum Solutions has been delivering large scale projects for the amusement park industry, from iconic roller coasters to waterpark slides and attractions. Millennium force here at Cedar Point is our largest project to date thus far. The project was divided into three phases and will take approximately six months to complete. The entire project was painted by hand using a brush and roll method with over 1000 gallons of Sherwin-Williams High Performance coatings.

Because we're a four season park, right? We're located in Ohio. We experienced the heat. We have rain because we're on a peninsula. Obviously, we get a lot of wind. We got to have a coating that will stand up to that. Also, obviously you got the snow here in Ohio. It's really got to hold up to all the elements.
So when we look at a coating for the rides we look at color retention. You know we get beat up by the sun here. We want it to be able to withstand the sun, the UV. We also look at what protection it will give the steel. We have a lot of maintenance personnel that take pride in what they do. And they they work to, you know, give everyone the best guest experience we can. That's why we chose to partner with Sherwin-Williams with the Sher-loxane 800, to maintain the esthetics of rides like Millennium Force
