One of the focus areas that the group established was a roadmap to "the race to net zero emissions". HOW CONCRETE SURFACE PREPARATION DIRECTLY IMPACTS A COATINGS INTEGRITY AND SERVICE LIFE
Improperly prepared concrete surfaces can result in reduced coatings integrity and service life. Up to 80% of all coating failures can be directly attributed to inadequate surface preparation, which affects coating adhesion. To ensure adhesion of the coating to the substrate and prolong the service life of the coating system, selection and implementation of proper surface preparation is required. This webinar will review the different surface preparation methods for concrete, considering the substrate, the environment and the expected life of the coating system specified.
