County Administration Building Converted from Tile to Terrazzo

Challenge: The Need for Beautifully Renovated Floors

When constructing a county administration building in Yorkville, Illinois, architech Cordogan, Clark and associates orginally specfied the floor to be a combination of epoxy terrazzo and grouted tile, requring two installers. 

Solution: Installing Durable and Pristine Resuflor™ Terrazzo TG Flooring

After working with Sherwin-Williams Architectural Account Executive, Susan Sienkowski, and Flooring Sales Representative, Sebastian Sole, the project was switched entirely to terrazzo. The High-Performance Flooring team discucssed the life cycle cost advantages, improved maintainence and enchanced decorative elements. Additionally, Sherwin-Williams worked to streamline schedules and consolidate the flooring installation to a single contractor, resulting in improved costs for the client. 

Outcome: Beautiful Terrazzo Flooring with Artistic Touches  

Midwest Terrazzo is among the best in highly specialized application processes. The level of skill and numerous artistic touches the team brought to this project can be seen in the photos. It goes without saying that parish members are extremely satisfied with their beautiful new flooring and gratified to see how well the design by Entheos Architects was executed.
