Loveland Hangar

Inspired by aviation travel, Vaught Fyre Larson Architects created a space that embodied innovative elements of the aircraft industry. The end result was the Corporate Airline Hangar facility for the Collins-Loveland Airport in Colorado, consisting of an existing 15,000 square-foot hangar, a new 25,000 square-foot hangar (with space for six planes) and 11,500 square-feet of new office space. The exteriors use Metal Sales T5 and TLC-1 wall panels and Magna-Loc 190 roof panels – coated in Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings Fluropon® in the colors Mistique Plus and Ash Grey. The combination of metal panels and cool grey colors, along with a sloping roof that connects the different spaces together, deliver both beauty and performance – reminiscent of the qualities found in an aircraft.
