Sherwin-Williams Releases New Powdura® Powder Coatings Color Guide

MINNEAPOLIS (March 1, 2019) – Sherwin-Williams General Industrial Coatings recently launched its new Powdura Coatings Color Guide, featuring more than 200 sample chips in a wide range of colors, textures and technologies for applicators in various industries. All finishes represented in the guide are in-stock and ready to ship from over 70 Sherwin-Williams facilities throughout North America.

“We launched the Powdura Color Guide at FABTECH in Chicago,” said John Morey, Sherwin-Williams General Industrial Market Segment Director. “The guides flew off our shelves. We had to ship additional copies from the office to our booth overnight.”

The guide is a comprehensive and accessible color tool for product designers, job shop owners, fabricators and OEMs, and incorporates a broad spectrum of chemistries such as epoxies, hybrids, polyester urethanes, TGIC and TGIC-free polyesters. The guide’s sample chips reflect market color trends for the next 3-5 years and are extremely close approximations to the actual color and texture produced by Powdura finishes.

“The Powdura Color Guide allows our customers to visualize the possibilities of powder coatings. It can help them find a unique finish for their job, ranging from our ultra-low-gloss CARC Green to the metallic sparkle of Intergalactic,” said Morey.
