Magnalux™ 1200
A multi-component, novolac vinyl ester.
A high temperature primer and/or laminating resin, Magnalux™ 1200 is designed for services less than 140°F/60°C immersion and secondary containment. Magnalux 1200 is also used as a novolac vinyl ester laminating system for highly chemical resistance environments. As a laminate system, this novolac vinyl ester will withstand a wide range of acids, bases, organics as well as crude and refined petroleum products including high aromatic lead-free gasoline, aromatic solvents, alcohol/fuel blends, MTBE, and a variety of non-lead octane boosters. Reinforced with fiberglass mat (1.5 oz), Magnalux 1200 provides an economical alternative to new steel bottoms and guards against product leakage.
