A two-component, phenolic epoxy coating.
Phenicon® 1500 is a high-performance, chemically resistant coating formulated from a phenolic epoxy resin (novolac) and cured using an amine adduct. This combination results in a tightly cross-linked polymer structure that provides exceptional durability and chemical resistance, making it ideal for environments exposed to harsh industrial conditions. Upon curing, Phenicon® 1500 forms a hard, dense, and highly impermeable film that offers superior protection against a broad spectrum of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, solvents, and other corrosive agents.
