MIL-DTL-24441, Type IV
A low-VOC, epoxy polyamide system
MIL-DTL-24441, Type IV is formulated for immersion service and to protect surfaces from environmental attack. Designed for use where air pollution regulations for marine coatings are restricted to a maximum of 340 g/L or 2.8 lb/gal. Can be applied over prepared substrates such as steel and aluminum in industrial and marine environments where a hard, durable, chemical-resistant coating is desired.
