Charitable Restoration of Chlorine Contact Chamber Doubles Asset Life
Big hearts abound while saving small town’s infrastructure budget.
The water treatment plant in St. Pauls, North Carolina, won the Carolina Management Team’s (CMT) “Give Back” program in 2016. The rehabilitation project, valued at $46,000, needed to address the structure’s multiple failures without shutting down the plant. The City of St. Pauls, CMT and Brian Huffman of Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings, faced multiple challenges throughout the project but ultimately restored the chamber. Discover the coating and lining systems deployed to extend the chamber’s service life by 40-50 years.
