I've been with the company for almost twenty five years. Currently, I'm an Associate Technical Director for the heavy equipment and transportation market segments. [video: pouring chemicals into funnel] [video: tractor in a field] [video: time lapse of construction cranes working] [video: fronthoe working] Quality really starts at the formulations side, right? So quality is built in as we develop a product to make sure that we're using methods for process that we have currently within our capabilities, using raw materials that we can offset with with various other vendors. So we're not single sourced. So if our products are moved from continent to continent we have the ability to to use the same raw materials across the board. We have to meet the customer specification. That's why they want the coating. [video: painting a chasis] [video: harvester working in field] Quality consistency is critical in our in our coatings and going across the globe. Number one, our customers expect to have the performance equal amongst all parts. Probably more importantly, though, is our color consistency. The last thing you want to do is have parts that are coming in from all over the world or even regionally into a manufacturing facility, and they piece them together and it look polka-doted and because every part's going to look a little bit different color. The one example that comes to my mind is when I was at a customer about 10 years ago. [video: heavy equipment yard] They had a couple of these units that had been out and, but they didn't look like it, they looked like br and new units, in fact, that the lead had to go actually check to make sure that they didn't actually accidentally pull in a brand new unit into their depot. That goes to show you how a very robust system that has all the performance requirements that our customers need. If it's applied correctly and developed correctly, you can have a superior performance in terms of coating corrosion and UV durability on pieces of equipment that are not, they're not used easily.
