Founded in the 1940s by J.P. Stevens and Company, Stevens Aerospace began as a small aviation team maintaining a corporate fleet. Their reputation for precision and service quickly spread, leading to the birth of Stevens Aviation in 1950. Over the decades, the company evolved — rebranding from Stevens Beechcraft to Stevens Aviation, and now Stevens Aerospace & Defense Systems — reflecting its expanded capabilities in aircraft maintenance, repair, and refurbishment.

One of the two projects we did was a design and paint job on a TBM Socata. For that, I had Sherwin-Williams top technical expert, Richard Giles, plus one of their chemists out here on site to make sure that the mix was going to be absolutely right.
