Aluminum is highly and fully recycleable. Now, to make an aluminum cans, you still need to protect the can from the food or beverage, and protect the beverage or food from the can. If you take an aluminum can and to put it in the soda. Then your aluminum would just dissolve. Now, if you have a good layer of protecting material around the aluminum, then the soda won't be able to attack the aluminum. The beauty of the coating is that it just needs to be very thin, a few micrometers. Metal packaging play a tremendous role into the PPWR. It's a great way to achieve the targets set by the European Union. Aluminum cans and metal cans are one of the best solution to achieve that. Now, to be able to fabricate aluminum cans, food cans, we need coatings and coatings needs to get the best performance possible to protect the food.
